I led the motion direction for Chime’s homepage icons, creating a custom animation system that added moments of delight while staying consistent with the product.
I established a clear motion behavior for the set, using outlined-to-filled transitions, a consistent bottom-to-top fill, and a subtle bounce to keep the interactions expressive but cohesive.
I also owned the handoff, delivering final Lottie files and working with engineering to make sure the animations worked as intended in the app.
The final system was fully implemented and is now live across Chime’s homepage experience.
