I designed custom icon animations for the Chime app to add moments of delight to the homepage experience. I crafted these selection-triggered micro-interactions using an expressive, bold, and simple motion style.
For thedesign concept, I animated the outlined icons to transition into a filled state upon interaction. To keep the motion system cohesive, I applied a uniform bottom-to-top fill and a subtle bounce.
Following a successful developer handoff of the final Lottie files, my animations were fully implemented. These interactive icons are now live in production on the Chime app's homepage.
